Quant_QualIn essence, quantitative research involves interviewing larger samples in structured, repeatable and measurable ways.

The process of measurement is central to quantitative research since it enables empiric investigation, identification of patterns in behaviour or attitudes and for the testing of hypotheses.

Praxis can deploy a range of different quantitative tools and techniques and offer statistical support where required as well as provide a desk-top analysis system to enable the client to interrogate the survey findings themselves.

Qualitative research is rather more intensive in its approach, typically involving fewer respondents in a more case study orientated approach. Our qualitative researchers aim to gather an in-depth understanding of behaviour and determine the attitudes and beliefs that underpin such behaviour. Smaller, focused samples are more often required for this type of research.
